Pumped for Fall: Watercolor Pumpkin Workshop

Imagine yourself soaking up the soft afternoon sun with delightful treats, a nearby waterfall babbling, a lake glistening, and a breezy meadow flirting with idyllic fall temperatures. Perfection.

Now, imagine a paint brush in your hand as you push and pull the colorful yet peaceful washes across the paper. This may sound like a dream, but this perfectly describes the fall workshop that I’ve designed for this fall afternoon. An inspiring afternoon of peace, beauty and rest (in your otherwise busy weekend) is the perfect way to wrap up the weekend and start off your week.

This outdoor watercolor workshop will be held on Sunday, October 3rd from 2:30pm to 4:30pm at The Meadows at Haven Ridge, nestled in Winston-Salem, NC 27103.

The rain date will be Sunday, 10/10/21 from 2:30pm to 4:30pm.

In this workshop, together, we will step through sketching then painting a plump pumpkin with watercolors using several basic painting techniques:

• wet-in-wet
• glazing
• wet-on-dry

Even if you have never painted with watercolors before, you will enjoy this low-key workshop and leave with a confident understanding of how to use watercolors easily. My goal is to make this feel like a mini-retreat for you. You will leave the workshop with a completed pumpkin painting, completely created by you!
