Tucked away in the rolling landscape of Winston-Salem, Haven Ridge is a private estate designed around nature to feel like a world of its own. Each space across the property offers a distinct experience, allowing your day to unfold naturally and beautifully from beginning to end. Whether you are planning a photo session, an intimate elopement or a wedding celebration for up to 125 guests, this guide will walk you through each corner of the property and how it can shape your experience.

The Grove
Located alongside the North Meadows, just a short stroll from the getting ready suites, the Grove feels like a hidden sanctuary, fit for the fairies. A natural tree canopy creates soft, filtered light and a sense of peace that is hard to replicate. This space is especially beautiful from late March through mid November, when the trees are full and the air feels alive and during the warmer months, can often feel 10+ degrees cooler, making it a create place to slip away.
The Grove is ideal for first looks, and private vows ahead of your ceremony at the venue. It offers a sense of privacy and stillness that allows you to slow down and be fully present. Many couples choose this space for its organic beauty and the way it feels tucked away from everything else.

The Meadows
The North and South Meadows offer a more expansive, open setting that captures the natural rhythm of the land. Spanning over 40 acres of untouched grasslands cultivated for hay and wildflowers, the landscape features two large American Sycamore trees and a line of nearly 90 cedar trees dividing the two fields, offering a scenery that transforms with the seasons. From mid April until the first frost, typically in late October or early November, the Meadows are in bloom with a wild, unstructured beauty. The Meadows are perfect for couples portraits and taking in the sunset views.
Fun fact: Nestled beyond the property's edge, you will find Muddy Creek, a quiet and steady presence. It is one of the longest creeks in Forsyth County, stretching for miles and eventually feeding into the Yadkin River. This natural feature adds depth and a sense of place to the Meadows, grounding the space in something timeless. *Guest access to this area is restricted due to distance and safety concerns.

The Chapel
The Chapel is the heart of Haven Ridge. Inspired by 16th century European architecture and thoughtfully crafted by North Carolina artisans, it offers an intimate indoor setting and rustic charming backdrop that feels both refined and rooted in faith. At 600 square feet, it is purposefully built to be scaled to create connection, allowing every guest to feel close to the moment.
Natural light shines through the stained glass windows, highlighting the stone textures and hand-hewn oak details that make the space feel warm and inviting. The Chapel is often used for ceremonies, but it also serves as a beautiful backdrop for quiet moments throughout the day.

The Solarium
Just steps from the Chapel, on the opposite side of the courtyard, the Solarium offers a seamless transition into your reception or gathering space. With 1500 square feet of light-filled interior, it blends indoor comfort with the feeling of being surrounded by nature, while being fully climate controlled year-round.
The Solarium is designed to be flexible with an open floor plan. It can host ceremonies, dinners, dancing, or a relaxed cocktail-style reception. Large windows bring the outside in with 360 degree views of the property, allowing the landscape to remain part of the experience no matter the season.

The Venue Grounds
The dedicated venue grounds span 10 acres of the 56.5 acres, thoughtfully designed to feel both expansive and private. Within these grounds, you will find the Chapel, the Solarium, micro gardens, a waterfall, Sarah Nell Lake (1.25 ac.), as well as centrally-located restrooms and two complimentary parking lots.
Each element adds a layer to the experience. The mini gardens by the lake offer color, texture and detail, the waterfall brings movement and sound, and the lake reflects the changing light throughout the day and beautifully reflects the sunset. Together, they create an environment that feels immersive and breathtaking without ever feeling overwhelming.
Haven Ridge is more than a venue, it remains a family homestead, with three households of the founding family living on the property. It is a collection of spaces designed to support meaningful moments that feel like home, and a sense of being removed from the modern world, from the moment you arrive.
